The law on technical regulation adopted in the Russian Federation in 2002, was a fundamental change in the administrative and technical management of the business and must allow Russian companies and organizations to integrate quickly into the international market economy. Unfortunately, the lack of proper attention to this legislation, and the reluctance of certain structures to part with the administrative management of business practically blocked the main idea of the law on technical regulation - the idea of harmonization of national legislation in the field of technical regulations with international practices, i.e. such a practice in which businesses can set the quality standards determined by the market.      Anniversary conference is summing up the International Dangerous Goods and Containers Association ("IDGCA", NPMP) and its partners long-term work on business advance of international requirements, standards, rules and guidelines, regulating transportation of dangerous goods and containers by all means of transport.
     Conference "Multimodal transportation of dangerous goods" took place in many countries and cities, including the Palace of Nations (Palais des Nations) in Geneva, in Helsinki, in Moscow and in other cities with participation of the representatives of international organization (United Nations Organization, International Maritime Organization, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and others), as well as the representatives of legislative and executive authorities.
     All the participants of transportation process representing sea and river ports, terminals, railways, auto enterprises, freight owners, freight forwarders, transportation equipment manufacturers, as well as representatives of supervisory and inspection authorities are invited to the conference. Joint work within the conference scope will contribute to increasing efficiency of interaction between authority and business as well as create of favorable condition for improvement of regulatory and legal base.
